Speaking up Upping the Ante, Pierre did just that! He provided original
CCD .FITS files from the infrared camera, stamped by the signature of
the observatory, Haute-Provence. THIS is the measure by which
anyone else's proferring will be measured.

On this we agree. Please DO read my warning about giving Hazelwood
money. He was kicked out of the Troubled Times discussion groups
promptly, over two years ago, for blatantly soliciting money, and from a
description of his private e-mail discussions, sounds more like a money
lauderer than anything. Good luck FINDING any money given to him for
establishing a safe place and stocking it with goods - its likely to
have been moved through off-shore accounts and GONE without a trace.

Did he provide the original CCD .FITS file from the infrared camera?

He's not stepped up the Pierre's standard, yet.

As The Small Kahuna used to say, it's not enough to say "I saw it" or "I
didn't see it" or "I imaged it and it ain't there". Regardless of
conclusion, we need to see the original camera image.
